No magic talent pool
Nobody holds a pool that is out of everyone else's reach. What I have is precedence and assessment: people I have already met, tested through demanding processes, and whose real level I know.
About
Founder of Lelaps Sàrl. A Belgian based in Geneva, recruiting in life sciences and engineering — and the single contact on every assignment.
Background
I trained in psychology and recruited for several years in Belgium before settling in French-speaking Switzerland. That detour explains my way of working fairly well: what interests me in an interview is not ticking keywords, it is understanding what someone can actually do, which environment they work well in, and what would make them leave after a year.
I founded Lelaps in Geneva in order to work that way: few assignments, handled end to end, with no commercial layer between the client and the person doing the search. I recruit in French and English, across the Lake Geneva region, Valais and the canton of Vaud.
What I do not promise
Nobody holds a pool that is out of everyone else's reach. What I have is precedence and assessment: people I have already met, tested through demanding processes, and whose real level I know.
I will never tell you I have “the perfect candidate” before understanding where your search is stuck. If I have nobody, I say so and I go looking.
A short, documented shortlist rather than ten CVs to make up the numbers. If a profile has a genuine technical gap, I do not put it in front of you.
Native French, fluent English. Assignments across French-speaking Switzerland: Geneva, Vaud, Valais, the Lake Geneva region — plus the Belgian and French applications targeting the region.
Contingency fees, no retainer, no imposed exclusivity. Fee basis, replacement guarantee and payment terms set out in writing before the start.
If you are in Geneva or nearby and you recruit in these fields, a coffee is often more useful than a thirty-minute call. Just tell me when it suits you.
